Privacy Policy — Suno Downloader Pro
Suno Downloader Pro (the “Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension that helps users discover and download their own audio and video files generated on the Suno platform. This policy explains what the Extension accesses, how that data is used, and how it is protected.
1. Summary
The Extension does not collect, transmit, or share personal data with the developer or any third parties. All operations run locally in the user’s browser and data remains on the user’s device unless the user explicitly downloads files.
2. What the Extension Accesses
The Extension only accesses the minimum information required to perform its single purpose (discovering and downloading the user’s Suno-generated audio and video files):
- Browser Tab URL (activeTab permission) — Used to detect when the user is viewing a Suno profile or content page so the Extension can locate relevant media. URLs are not transmitted externally.
- Downloads (downloads permission) — Used only to save MP3 and MP4 files the user chooses to download via the Chrome Downloads API.
- Local Storage (storage permission) — Used to store the user’s local library, download history, and preferences. Data is stored only on the user’s device.
- Cookies for suno.com (cookies permission) — Read locally to authorize requests to Suno’s API so the Extension can retrieve the user’s own content. Cookies are not uploaded or shared.
- Host Permissions (https://*.suno.com/*) — Network requests are made only to Suno domains to fetch metadata and media URLs needed for user-initiated downloads.
3. What the Extension Does NOT Do
- It does not collect or transmit personal information to external servers.
- It does not use analytics, tracking libraries, or third-party CDNs.
- It does not log browsing history or share data with advertisers.
- It does not perform background network calls except when the user initiates actions that require fetching media from Suno.
4. Data Storage & Retention
All user data related to the Extension (library, settings, download history) is stored locally using Chrome's storage.local API. Users may clear this data at any time by uninstalling the Extension or clearing extension data in Chrome. No data is retained on external servers.
5. Remote Code & Third-Party Services
The Extension does not load or execute remote code and does not rely on third-party analytics or CDNs. All code executes locally in the browser and complies with Chrome Manifest V3 requirements.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Extension is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from minors.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If material changes are made, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically.
